Enjoyed eating dinner here! Enjoyed the blackened mahi mahi sandwich! Nice cold draft beers! Great jalapeño bacon pimento cheese appetizer!!! Loved being able to enjoy dinner, drink cold beer, and watch US Women beat China at soccer!

Awesome atmosphere, live music, great waitresses (especially Angela), and a multitude of TV's for sports. This is the perfect sports bar. We also ordered the nachos, and the wings. Angela said there wasnt anything bad in the menu, and she was right! The nachos were crisp, with plenty of fixings and fresh chicken strips. The hot wings were AMAZING. We will definitely be back again. We'll deserved five stars.

My friends and I frequently pick the Water Dog for a Friday night unwind. Fish and chips are excellent as are the nachos and salad with tuna. Higher grade food than you would expect. Owner is a great guy

Fantastic for St. Pattys today; corned beef and cabbage was the best I've ever had. Being that this was my first time here I can promise I'll be back to try the rest of the menu! Beer selection and atmosphere is very cool.

Great food and service! We have gone there a couple of time and enjoyed our experience. I usually get their chicken sandwich modified to my liking and they always accommodate. Try their homemade baked beans, they are crazy good. Good place to go to if you want a decent sandwich without a big crowd.

One of my favorite places in Charleston! Cool atmosphere, superior food, friendly staff and it's never packed to the max. There's always something good on one of their many TV's and the employees really take their time to get to know you. Hint: Try the soup of the day! Pad knows what he's doing in the kitchen!

Woulda gone 5 stars for the food alone but although the wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food took a bit too long to come out. The beef tenderloin sliders were outstanding. All in the party reported tasty results in their selection.

Some of the better bar food I have had in the Mt Pleasant region. This place reminds me of a smaller Parson Jacks. So far I have had the Beef Tender sliders and some of their wings. The sliders were fantastic with well seasoned beer that was very tender. The wings had a great flavor, I got the Asian Style, but I was expecting something a little spicier. They also have great fries that are really crispy. One of my few complaints would be their draft beer selection, noting really notable here. However, they do have yeungling on tap for a great price. I would love to see some more local beers on tap. Overall a fun place to go for lunch or after work and have a pint while waiting on traffic to clear up.

Stopped here for lunch a couple of times while visiting friends in Mt. Pleasant. Above average bar food with lots of locals and a terrific wait staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my beef tender sliders and my wife said her hot dog was superb. Get the fries, but pass on the onion rings.

Cool sports bar in Mount Pleasant with a ton of TV's, plenty of space, and an outdoor bar (almost feels like inside) which is dog friendly. Sounds like the makings of a great sports bar right? Well it is... and to top it off, they have pretty stellar bar food to go with it. I loved the Mac n Cheese bites and the Buffalo Chicken Empanadas were delicious as well as a bit unique as far as standard bar fare goes. The Ahi tuna wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out compared to the other items plus it was more expensive. It's one of those places you keep driving by but never go into, but make sure not to keep making that mistake and check out Water Dog Grill.

Stopped in yesterday for an early dinner and to watch some football and I had no idea I'd soon be munching on deep fried corn. The place has a nice open feel to it and a really cool patio area with outside bar where dogs are welcome. The place has a bunch of TV's and they were more than happy to oblige us by turning on our game. The beer list is decent with a couple of ones that have been harder to find at restaurants in Mt. Pleasant. All the people at our table chose to go with Pacifico. The menu isn't very extensive but that's okay because they obviously put some thought into the items they do carry. The table collectively order: garlic ranch chicken wings, fried corn on the cob, brisket baked beans, mahi sandwich with a side of coleslaw, and their chili con queso chips. Everything was very tasty and the beans and wings were by far the favorites. The only things found lacking were the coleslaw which had too much dressing in it an the chili con queso dip which was lacking on meat and also kind of runny. We did speak with a manger/owner about the chili con queso and he was eager to hear what we had to say and actually admitted that the kitchen probably got the ratio of chili to queso wrong and that he would be happy to bring us out more. We were all stuffed and ready to go but we appreciated his offer and acknowledgement. All is all I would say that it's a fun place to hang out or grab a beer. Being dog friendly is a definite plus! Next time I go I'm looking forward to trying the steak sliders

facebook.com/WaterDogGri… Today I had a great Lunch while I was driving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Lunch done by Pad was really awesome. He did try Veggie Paddy or Veggie Burger -similar to wrap made really nice. They have lot of varieties in Water Dog Grill- True American good restaurant. Service is excellent. People who work are awesome. They really mean good customer service. Owner Steve can stop by and discuss with every individual, even though he is one of the busiest person, he takes time to say hi to every individual who visits. Shawna does an outstanding job during Monday to Friday. Weekends Kathryn really takes care and tells people we should visit the restaurant on the weekends. Really positive, Highly Professional and ethical. They have lot of Flat TV Screens too. They have diet Pepsi which I love and they make fries really great and good. Lot of american food choices if we see the menus.

I came here for a Cancer Benefit party...Being that this place is nestled in the back of a strip mall I probably would've never made it....However, I'M GLAD I DID!!!! This place is pretty much a bar with bar food on steroids! They were serving BBQ sandwiches for the party, but that wasn't cutting it for me. I wanted to try some of the cool stuff I saw on the menu! Like Buffalo Chicken Empanadas!!! I was lucky enough to have the owner wait on me bc the place was packed. Real cool dude and very passionate about his food(which I love bc you know the foods gonna be SLAMMING)...The Empanadas which were DELICIOUS and are house made....Also had the Tuna and that was AMAZING....Melt in your mouth. Last but not least, I had the Bacon Jalapeno Pimiento Cheese....That too was GREAT! I didn't get to finish everything bc I Was pretty full, but I got the taste I was looking for...lol. However, next time I'll be coming with an empty belly so I can really dive into that menu!!! I'll be back! (In my best Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)

This place just opened and is doing it right! It's a wonderful space full of flat screens for all the sport fans. The bar is huge and they have outdoor, smoker and dog friendly areas. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They talked about the food and made sure I was happy. I ordered the deep fried Mac n Cheese bites, They were HEAVENLY, I devoured the basket in no time at all. I also got the filet mignon sliders, they were wonderful! So tender and juicy, the bun was perfect, they came with a wonderful dipping sauce with a bit of spice. Couldn't have been happier. They fries were great and the portions were perfect. Sweet tea was nice and sweet. They offer daily soup and meal specials. Also I think $1 off drinks for happy hour. I can't wait to go back.

DO NOT GET THE FRIED CORN if you have high cholesterol, watching your figure or for the faint of heart. The corn tasted like it was fried butter that just melted in your mouth. Sinful!!! But ohhhhh so gooood! We ate more but I can't remember past the fried corn

Great food for entire family! The new shrimp spring rolls are delicious and the tuna never disappoints! My husband and son love the wings. Great management and just overall solid establishment.

Stumbled upon this place 2 weeks ago and I gotta say, this place is solid. As previously mentioned, one part of the bar is 'outside' and you can bring your dog. Awesome on a week night to just hang out with friends and we can bring our dog along. Beer selection is good, but this is more of a sports bar. Flat screens all the way around this place and 2 behind the bar. They put the sound on for football which is cool. Place is clean, staff is friendly, and because it's new it's not too crowded. All I've tried is the Mac n cheese bites and they were awesome. Going back tonight for the World Series...will check back in.
